WESTSTAR TALKRADIO NETWORK ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW WEEKEND TALK PROGRAM
THE OTHERSIDE

PHOENIX, AZ.-November 13, 2003 - WestStar TalkRadio Network has announced the national launch of a new three hour weekend talk radio program, The OtherSide with Steve Godfrey.

"The OtherSide with Steve Godfrey is an entertaining and ground breaking weekend talk radio program," said WestStar President and CEO Barry Young. "With "The OtherSide", we have actually been able to bring the excitement of such successful television programming as "Crossing Over" to talk radio," Young said. "A show of this kind has never been attempted on live radio."

"The OtherSide with Steve Godfrey premiered nationally November 1, 2003 with top rated TalkRadio station KFYI Phoenix as the program's first affiliate. New affiliates and markets are being signed daily," said Kristen Bechtold, WestStar's VP of Affiliate Sales. "This program is a home run," she said.

Steve Godfrey is the program's host. He is careful in describing what he does. "I am not a psychic or fortune teller," he says. "I don't know what the future holds. But I believe that life does go on after physical death. And I believe that those who have moved on do reach out to us from time to time," says Steve Godfrey.

Program Research
And he is not alone in his beliefs. According to new study released in October 2003 by the Oxnard, Calif.-based Barna Research Group, an independent marketing-research firm, an overwhelming majority of Americans continue to believe there is life after death and that heaven and hell actually exist. And nearly two-thirds of Americans said they believe they will go to heaven.

According to the authors of this study, Americans are cutting and pasting religious views from a variety of different sources - television, movies, and conversations with friends. Rather than simply embracing one particular viewpoint, and then trying to follow all the specific precepts or teachings of that particular viewpoint, what Americans are saying is, 'Listen, I can probably put together a philosophy of life for myself that is just as accurate, just as helpful as any particular faith might provide. (The poll interviewed 1,000 adults throughout September in all the states except Hawaii and Alaska. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.)

"It is this, together with an engaging, high production value program, that forms the basis of the success of "The OtherSide" said Young. "The program is compelling, millions of listeners already believe and our research is telling us that we have identified and developed a product that scores a direct hit with an under served and un-noticed programming niche. "The OtherSide" will electrify Saturday or Sunday night talk radio programming."

Program Sales
Media America and WestStar Spot Sales will jointly represent the program for all national commercial sales. WestStar Affiliate Relations will exclusively handle all affiliate sales.

The OtherSide is being offered on a barter basis. Affiliate stations will receive personalized liners to give the program an individualized and local sound. Program Distribution
The OtherSide with Steve Godfrey is broadcast and distributed live Saturday evenings 9PM - midnight Eastern Time (6PM - 9PM Pacific). The program is available via StarGuide III on both ABC Satellite Services and Clear Channel Satellite Services.
